The Electrical and Communications Associatio (ECA) is the peak industry body for contractors who operate in the electrical, data, communications and ancillary sectors of the Building and Construction industry in Queensland.

With a memberhip of over 2,000, ECA is a driving force in the electrical and communications industries which offers its members networking events and functions throughout Australia and the world, including its annual conference which is now in its 34th year.

ECA engaged the services of Australian Corporate Connections (ACC) in May 2009 following the resignation of our in house events manager.

ACC were assigned the task of turning around a conference in Darwin (to be held in August 2009) that was floundering, providing an annual golf day and deliverying an awards dinner for 300+ people all before the end of the year.

ECA was greatly impressed with the professional and diligent manner in which ACC went about negotiating contracts and developing ideas/tours/events for our conference. Their involvement in the conference took it from being a mediocre event that lost the association money to one that was truly memorable and viable at the same time!

The staff at ACC were "hands on" involved in the conference and were on hand at all times, ensuring everything ran smoothly and any issues were dealt with quickly and seamlessly.

ACC have since delivered to ECA a highly successful golf day and an awards dinner that saw more than 300 people enjoy a flawless evening.

ACC are now developing and co-ordinating our 2010 conference to be held in Vietnam, and we have every confidence that it will be bigger and better than any conference we have held in the past.
